Mehman Form-C Autofill — Privacy Policy
The Mehman Form-C Autofill extension helps accommodation operators fill Form-III (Form C) on the Bureau of Immigration portal from filings they have already prepared in Mehman. This policy explains exactly what data it handles.
What it stores (on your device only)
- The Mehman API base URL.
- A short-lived, property-scoped access token you paste in once.
Both are kept in the browser's local extension storage and are removed when you uninstall the extension.
What it sends, and where
When you click Pull next filing or report an acknowledgment, the extension calls only the Mehman API (your configured API base) using your token, and fills fields only on pages under indianfrro.gov.in. It contacts no other servers and includes no analytics or trackers.
What it never does
- It never stores guest passport/visa data or any personal data on your device.
- It never sees, stores, or transmits your FRRO portal login credentials.
- It never submits a Form-III on your behalf — you review and click the portal's own submit button.
- It does not sell, share, or use any data for advertising or model training.
Permissions
storage (save the token + API base), activeTab / scripting (fill the form on the FRRO page you have open), and host access limited to indianfrro.gov.in.
